Notice of Public Hearing and Comment Period on Maryland State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revision under Clean Air Act Section 110(a)(2) for Implementation, Maintenance, and Enforcement of the 2010 Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) National Ambient Air Quality Standard
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) gives notice of a public hearing and comment period regarding a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision addressing Clean Air Act Section 110(a)(2) requirements for the 2010, 1-hour sulfur dioxide (SO2) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
The public hearing will be held on July 21, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. at the Maryland Department of the Environment headquarters located at 1800 Washington Boulevard, First Floor Conference Room, Baltimore, Maryland, 21230.
The public hearing will be held as required by federal law (Clean Air Act at 42 U.S.C. 7410 (a) and 40 CFR 51.102).

Comments will be accepted between June 17, 2016, and July 21, 2016 at 5:00 P.M., and they may also be submitted at the hearing. After MDE considers the comments received, MDE will finalize and submit the plan to the United States Environmental Protection Agency for approval.
